Greetings! I totally enjoy photographing weddings. I have decided to expand my coverage area to go beyond the Quad-Cities area and now offer affordable wedding photography to Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Indiana. My package pricing includes my transportation to and from your wedding events.
When I photograph your wedding, I do more than capture formals and the formal events, I capture the happenings of your day. I do get all of the formal pictures that you desire, and more! I also work to capture the events as you see them and as you don't!
I truly enjoy my job. And at your wedding, my job at the wedding is to take pictures. With this I take a shoot first attitude and you can always edit later. The following is what you can expect from me at your wedding.
I take a variety of wedding formal portraits. This may be done before, after, or before and after the wedding. I totally respect your wishes to not see your prospective spouse before the wedding, so we can do this as you wish.
At a minimum, the formal portraits include formal portraits of the bride and groom, the complete wedding party, the bride, the groom, and family pictures. I also include the groom with his groomsmen separately and together, the groom with the bridesmaids together and optionally separately, the bride and her bridesmaids together and separately, the bride and grooms men together and optionally separately, and all other requests and combinations.
Also, wedding formal portraits are more than in front of the church. They can also be at various locations, with the use of a backdrop, and in any creative way you wish for me to create.
Whether you get ready at the church, your house, a day spa, or other location, I can start your day with you. I will get great pictures of your preparations, candid or posed to help you remember the complete day. The day can be scheduled that I capture preparations of bride and groom.
Your wedding ceremony is more than one or two pictures from the back of the church. I communicate with the officiant to determine my rules for shooting. I then go to work getting pictures throughout the complete service. This will also allow me to do some creative digital pictures later on.
I will take all of the standard reception events. This includes the introductions, head table, cutting of the cake, scheduled dances, and tossing of garters and bouquet. I also photograph throughout the dollar dance if you wish to help give you pictures of your guests.
Throughout your reception I will capture the events that are happening around you. I am always on the lookout for activity. I will also get conversational candids of you and your guest throughout.
I work in an artistic candid photo journalistic style getting the proper formal pictures while capturing events you may not see, as you are quite busy at the time. I photograph in color, but any print can also be printed in Black and White and Sepia Tone. Approximate number of pictures are between 600 and 1300 or more depending on your activities. But more can happen!!

You do not need to decide which package at the time of booking.
Fees are to be paid as follows: $200 non-refundable but never loseable
to book the day. The Package Balance is due three weeks before the
wedding. Package Balance once paid is non refundable and never
loseable. Receive a 5% discount if you pay in full at time of booking.
(Never loseable means that if you have
to cancel the wedding, the amount becomes a studio credit for any
studio product.)
All payments received by Denny Scott Photography are
non-refundable in the
event the wedding is canceled, but can be used for a future event or
any
other Denny Scott Photography Product. You may use your studio
credit to
book another wedding based upon my availability.
